| Who I Would Like to Meet: |
Lots of people that are stimulating and that I can just have a good time with! Maybe those who have the same interests as me... or maybe somebody not like me that can introduce me to new things and teach me something cool. I just want to meet people I feel comfortable with and can be myself.

| My Involvement in the Deaf Community: |
I started learning sign when I was 14 years old and it has been a big part of my life ever since. I went to Cal State Northridge where I lived in the Deaf dorms for 2 years, was a member of Deaf Studies Association, and was a sister of Alpha Sigma Theta. I got my BA in Deaf Studies from CSUN in 2006. I currently teach ASL 1 and 2 at West Ranch High School.

Hmm... that's a tough question... I think it would have to depend on what's going on in my life at that time. Right now my interests are my growing family (Jason, Aidan, and me), work, finishing my teaching credential, and saving enough money to hopefully buy a house in the near future.

| Activities: |
I love to do gymnastics, snowboard, skate, longboard, surf (even though I'm not very good at it), hike, swim, wakeboard, go sea dooing, go to the beach, take kickboxing or just go to the gym, be outside doing something, go shopping, or hang with my friends and just have a good time!

| Favorite Movie(s): |
I love movies but I haven't seen very many, at least that's what I'm told. But I can never stay awake during a movie if I watch them at night, unless you give me lots of caffine. I would have to say my favorite movies include Rain Man, Juno, and PS I Love You. I'm a sucker for romance and girly movies.

I don't really ever just sit down and watch tv, but I try to make some time for "Extreme Makeover Home Edition," "Little People, Big World" and "A Baby Story."

I read anything with a good story line, and doesn't take me too long to finish because I get bored. I tend to like inspirational books too. My recent favorite books are "My Sister's Keeper," "The Tenth Circle" and "The Pact."

| Future Plans: |
I am going to become a mommy in April/May 2008 and will be getting married in July of 2008.
My fiance Jason and I plan to move to the Redlands/Riverside area in the summer of 2009. At that time, I will hopefully find a job working at the Riverside School for the Deaf.

They are cute... and really remind me of my old roommate Brandi who absolutely adores penguins!
